First Team Relegated
Following a brief period of fight at the end of the season, the first team eventually succumbed to the inevitable, that was relegation to Gwent County Division Two, finishing bottom with 18 points from their 26 games played.
The reserves had an improved season and finished 8th in the Gwent Central First Division with 33 points.

FIRST TEAM BOOST SURVIVAL HOPES
The first team are clawing their way back towards the other teams at the bottom of the Gwent County First Division following a 2-1 home win against 6th placed Undy Athletic, with a first half strike from Mike Davidge and a spectacular 84th minute volley from Tom Wise. Mark Taylor's team have now gained 10 points from their last five games (five times more than they'd amassed in all of their previous games this season).
Steve White gave Blaenavon the lead mid-way through the first half with Lee Gwilliam equalising before the break direct from a corner and both teams had great chances to net the winner in the second half. With ten minutes remaining the match was abandoned when Panteg midfielder Luke Whittam fell awkwardly in playing a pass down the wing, picking up a suspected broken leg.

Following a wait of over an hour for an ambulance to arrive with Luke in agony on a muddy pitch in near freezing conditions
